An industry came together. $275,000 changed lives.

Property Unites was born from a simple idea: that Melbourne's property and construction industry could come together for something that genuinely matters. In 2025, three organisations made it happen. Women in Property, Queers in Property, and Men in Property pooled their networks and brought their communities together for a charity luncheon at 1 Hotel Melbourne, all in support of the Avalon Centre, an organisation providing vital assistance to people experiencing homelessness, family violence, and disadvantage.

What made this event exceptional was the people behind it. A volunteer committee gave their time, energy, and networks to create something genuinely impactful. The room reflected that effort. By the end of the afternoon, guests had raised $275,000, funds directed towards purchasing and renovating a property to support Avalon's next chapter. A tangible, lasting outcome from a single lunch.

Technology played a significant role in supercharging the result. Zesty built a custom online platform that brought the live auction, silent auction, and raffle tickets together in one place, making it seamless for guests to participate and give across multiple fundraising streams simultaneously. Designed to reduce friction and maximise generosity, the platform was a key driver of the record result.

Zesty managed the full event production: venue styling and table design, programme and run-of-show, fundraising activations, and guest experience from arrival to close. Zesty also contributed a $15,000 package as a live auction lot. It remains one of the most meaningful events in our recent work.
